Freja plays wonderfully the role of masculine companion with the indulgence/amusement and weariness required from a young gentleman not so much taken by modern art. I can say her androgynous demeanor is very appealing (and I'm a girl!). Leaving glamour on a second note, the images are full of wit, charm and uncanny art.
I just love this art loaded fashion editorial titled Art & Commerce and published in the October 2009 issue of W magazine. Under the superb lens of photography duo Inez & Vinoodh and styled by Alex White, topmodels Raquel Zimmerman and Freja Beha Erichsen are discovering the wonders of contemporary art exhibited at Centre Pompidou in Paris and at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Raquel is modeling the best looks of fall 2009 looking snobbishly ravishing in couture ensembles designed by Chanel, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Lanvin, Emporio Armani, Christian Lacroix, Azzedine Alaïa, Valentino and others. She makes the best of her comic talents posing in confused awe for every piece of art she sees.
